January arrived with storms, rain, and colder weather sweeping across Málaga. Grey skies and wet weather could have slowed things down, but the community kept moving. Clubs remained welcoming, conversations continued, and the city’s cannabis culture shines through, warm, vibrant, and deeply rooted despite the chill.
Quietly, the Malaguana Cup began taking shape through visits to clubs and conversations with great people.
The gold trophy was completed; silver and bronze underway
Club visits offered more insight into Málaga’s culture, artwork, and the people who sustain it
As the year progresses, what began in January will continue to develop through ongoing visits, communication, and shared involvement.

Thanks to all the clubs stocking the seeds and supporting participation

and to everyone who took the time to meet with us and engage in open conversation.
The strength of Málaga’s cannabis culture has always come from the people and spaces that sustain it.
Málaga’s cannabis culture has never needed to be created. It already exists. The Cup and Festival simply recognise, celebrate, and support what is already here.
Let’s grow together.
